Youth 2000


Youth 2000 run weekend retreats, social events and weekly prayer meetings for young Catholics from 16 - 35 years of age, as well as two incredible national events - a national Christmas retreat and a huge Summer Youth Festival in Clonmacnois, Co. Offaly! Youth 2000 is a fantastic way to get to know other young Catholics, and was an important influence in the creation of Teen SpiriT. World Youth Day

An international youth festival organized by the Church to celebrate the Catholic faith! The first WYD was in Rome and since then, it has been in Buenos Aires, Santiago de Compostela, Czestochowa, Denver, Manila, Paris, Rome, Toronto, Cologne and Sydney drawing millions of young people together for a week of music, friendship and mad fun! This summer Pope Benedict XVI, along with millions of young people from all around the world will be celebrating in the Spanish Capital! Click on the WYD 2011 logo to learn more.



Spirit Radio

Upbeat and uplifting, entertaining and inspirational, Spirit Radio plays the best contemporary Christian music - plus a selection of positive hits. Presenters highlight stories that show how faith in God makes a real difference. Spirit’s news and talk has Christian voices speaking on the issues of the day. Spirit Radio is a ‘not for profit’ organisation with charitable status. Teen SpiriT was delighted to be associated with Spirit Radio in 2011! The International Eucharistic Congress



1932 was the last time the International Eucharistic Congress was held in Ireland, and the 50th Congress is taking place here in Dublin in June 2012! The IEC is an international gathering of people which aims to promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church, to help improve our understanding and celebration of the liturgy, and to draw attention to the social dimension of the Eucharist. Thousands are expected to take part in this exciting event in Irish Church history - for more info on the Congress and even how to volunteer, click on the IEC logo!


Elation Ministries

.....are a group of young people committed to spreading the Good News through worship and song. They have experienced the personal love of God and His transforming power in their lives and wish to share this with others through their gifts. They aim to deepen other people's experience of prayer. Apart from providing music ministry at the Clonmacnois Summer Youth Festival and the Knock Youth Ministry Festival they also faciliate Music Ministry Workshops, praise and worship concerts, provide music for Masses, retreats, Days of Prayer, Conferences, lead Parish Missions / Outreach etc. The music of Elation has featured in Teen SpiriT I and II - "I want to believe" and "Awake Rise Up".

Knock Summer Youth Festival
The festival is a three-day event. Over the weekend there will be talks, workshops, prayer, reflection, music and more. The theme of this years festival is 'Fuel For The Journey'. The weekend has something for everyone to choose from, there will be talks, workshops, share groups, music, quiet time, chill out time and prayer and reflection.
