Rehearsals with a Difference!
TEEN SPIRIT is so much more than just a show, and BootcamPs are an integral part of the TEEN SPIRIT EXPERIENCE! Apart from the fun and hard work that's part and parcel of producing a succesfful show like TEEN SPIRIT, it's at BootcamP that the three real parts of Teen SpiriT come to life.
The TEEN SPIRIT experience provides the chance to listen to, think about and sing songs about our Christian faith, our relationship with God the Father, with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and with Our Lady. These songs explore our relationship to God and how He sees and loves us. BootcamP also incorporates some prayer time and talks each day, relevant to the teen experience.
Being part of TEEN SPIRIT means developing skills such as being a team player, taking responsibility for your part, socialising with new people and getting out of the comfort zone of just staying with your own friends. Most importantly it means developing a positive and co-operative attitude to the whole project.
This project is about co-operation and the organisers depend on each participant to know their words and learn the parts given to them. If participants do not do their part, it puts pressure on the team and takes time from other work we need to do. Homework after BootcamP usually means learning the structure of each song and actions. Performance means having an energetic and committed approach, including letting the joy show in your facial expressions!
